Nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of Arizona on the site of the historic Pico’s Nursery in Pinetop/Lakeside, The Greenhouse on Woodland is the premiere location for your fairy tale wedding or small corporate gathering.
The Greenhouse on Woodland is the perfect place for for your intimate gathering. Whether for a fairy-land evening wedding, or an afternoon of corporate team building, our mature specimen garden will provide calming, relaxed backdrop. A wedding arch, soft lighting and a professional sound system help to set the mood. We provide seating, tables and parking for up to and no more than 100 guests, although we suggest a more intimate gathering to take advantage of the intimacy of our facility Starting in Spring of 2021, we will have a newly erected 2800 sq. ft. permanent reception hall that will be packed with amenities including high speed WiFi, electronics charging stations, professional grade sound system, bar and dedicated restrooms to name a few.
The Garden
Intimate, manicured, unexpected beauty in the middle of the worlds largest Ponderosa Pine forest. Thousands of tiny lights wink down from the canopy of our garden trees, shimmering with the slightest breeze, creating the mood that will etch an indelible memory.
Located 1.5 miles off of White Mountain Blvd. in Pinetop/Lakeside, we are close to town, yet far enough removed that deer and other wildlife are a common sight. The property was a plant nursery for over 50 years, and the one acre reception area was the specimen garden lovingly planted by the former owners. Filled with unusual perennial flowers and atypical tree plantings, the property is a horticulturists dream.
The “She Shack”
The “She Shack”, a 1940’s tiny house built of rail road ties affords the wedding party a comfortable area to change and prepare for the grand entrance.
While tiny, with an open floor plan, the She Shack provides plenty of room for the bridal party to get dressed and prepare for the festivities. In keeping with the theme, there is a tiny kitchen and a tiny restroom, featuring the worlds tiniest porcelain sink. To call it charming is an understatement. Large mirrors and dress hooks help ease your wedding day preparations.

Reception Hall
We have designed and built what is without question, the nicest facility in our community with your wedding in mind. The 2800 sq. ft structure features large, opening doors to take advantage of our reliable breezes, spacious window with a garden view, wrap around porches with seating, restrooms and a permanent bar. We also include a professional grade sound system inside the hall and in the outdoor ceremony area that is ready for either your DJ, or your digital music player and playlist to plug and play. A wireless microphone is also available for toasts and announcements. Included are 35 large rectangular banquet tables, smaller buffet tables, up to 100 fruitwood toned, wooden folding chairs with tan padded seats. Seating may be moved for ceremony and or garden seating. Bistro lights and strung LED emitters set a soft glow both within the hall and garden areas.
